Before the PC is delivered, we require:

1. Photo ID — a clear photo of your passport or UK driving licence (both sides).

2. Proof of address — a bank statement or utility bill dated within the last 3 months, showing your full name and address.

We use this information solely to verify your identity as required by our hire agreement. Your data is stored securely under UK GDPR and never shared with third parties.

Providing false or altered documents is fraud and will be reported to the police.

RentGamingPC Ltd — Consumer Hire Agreement Summary

Ownership: The PC remains property of RentGamingPC Ltd throughout the rental. You may not sell, modify, or lend it to another person.

Payment: Weekly rent is due every 7 days. Monthly rent is due on the same date each month. A £10 late fee applies after 5 days. Payments are collected via bank transfer or agreed payment method.

Security Deposit: Held throughout and returned within 5 days of the PC being returned in good condition. Fair wear and tear is accepted.

Cancellation: Weekly renters: 7 days written notice. Monthly renters: 30 days written notice. No early exit fees apply. The PC must be returned in the same condition it was received.

Damage: You are liable for damage beyond fair wear and tear. Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from your deposit; any excess will be invoiced.

Hardware Faults (not your fault): We repair or replace within 7 working days at no cost to you.

Tracking & Remote Access: Rental PCs carry an asset tag and have remote management software installed. This is disclosed here and in the full agreement.

Rent-to-Buy: If you decide to purchase the PC during your rental, a special discounted buy-out price will be agreed with you in writing. The longer you have rented, the better the price — 35% of your total rent paid will be deducted from the machine's original price, subject to a minimum buy-out of 60% of the original price. This buy-out price is indicative and must be formally agreed and confirmed in writing before any purchase is completed.

Your Rights: This agreement is governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Credit Act 1974, under the jurisdiction of England and Wales. You have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of signing. Late returns will incur continued rental charges after a 2-day grace period — we will always contact you first. Returns must be sent via a tracked insured courier — contact us if you need help arranging this.

The full legally binding hire agreement will be sent to your email via DocuSign for signature before delivery is confirmed. Delivery will not proceed until the agreement is signed and payments are received.
